Out with the Old
Many
of us have items that have been shoved to the back of our closets, garages,
cabinets, and desks. Sometimes we do not use them because we cannot find
them. Other times, their location is evidence that we no longer need them.
By sifting through our clutter, we can make better use of what we have.
We can also donate items we no longer use. There may be someone in need.
All who believed were together and had all things in common. They
would sell their property and possessions and divide them among all according
to each person’s need. Acts 2:44-45
• Collect leftover school supplies from the children at the end
of the year and donate the materials. Unused notebook paper, pencils,
pens, crayons, and markers make great donations. You can donate the materials
to a family shelter or to a school with children in need.
